SI Directory Profile

Mary Anne has been a Certified Sage-ing Leader (CSL) since 2013 and a Life Legacies Certified Facilitator since 2015. She has been creating and facilitating Elder Circles, Wisdom Circles, Legacy Writing Circles, Book Groups, Workshops and Retreats since 2013. She enjoys bringing elders together in circle to share this aging journey, address the spiritual issues of aging, identify our unique legacies and find meaningful service as we age. She served on the board of Sage-ing International (SI) for 6 years and as Co-Chair of SI with Jerome Kerner for 2 years. She currently serves on the board of Elders Action Network (EAN). Today her board service with EAN reflects her passion for public service that addresses the most critical social issues of our times--climate change, racism and preserving our democracy through systemic change, while continuing to facilitate groups that focus on the inner work of aging.
