Wisdom Circles
Sage-ing® International Wisdom Circles
Wisdom Circles are gatherings which help elders to create and maintain social connections with other like-minded persons. The Wisdom Circles may be formed based on common interests or on prior participation in Sage-ing classes or workshops. They are often shared leadership groups, although there is commonly one or more persons who handle the administrative tasks, e.g., maintaining a contact list of participants.
An extensive Wisdom Circle Guide describing the creation and operation of a Wisdom Circle is available for your use. (The guide is also available in Portuguese). Additionally, Sage-ing® International supports the formation of new Wisdom Circles, and would like to help you in this effort.

There are also opportunities for creating virtual (on-line) Wisdom Circles if you don’t live close to an existing Circle, or want to form a group for a specific purpose. These Circles generally meet using one of SI’s ZOOM platforms. Since 2014, Sage-ing Leader Certification groups have met regularly as virtual Wisdom Circles during their training year, and have continued afterward in many cases. The virtual Circles are typically Circles formed for a specific purpose, they are often closed groups (ie, not open to new people).
