Patrick holds a BA in Physical Education & History from San Jose State & NBA from St. Mary’s College. In his late 50s, Patrick became interested in Healthy & Successful Aging and his interest led him to obtain a Master’s Degree in Gerontology, The Study of Aging from The University of Southern California where The Student Gerontology Association named him Alumnus of the Year for His effective Talks on Healthy Aging. As Patrick entered his mid 70s, his focus changed to Conscious and Spiritual Aging. After much research & thought, Patrick enrolled in, The Sage-ing International, “Awakening the Sage Within” Program where upon his completion, became a Certified Sage-ing Leader on March 20, 2025. Patrick now facilitates Workshops and gives Lectures as they relate to the Later Life in California in Arizona. Patrick may be reached at p.furlong@sage-ing.org
