Dave Dupper

David R. Dupper, PhD, MSW, CSL is a retired social work professor with extensive experience in teaching adult learners and facilitating groups. In addition to developing and teaching a course entitled Mindfulness: Science and Practice to undergraduate students, he has developed and led several mindfulness workshops. He has also developed an online course on empathy entitled Finding Common Ground. Since retiring, Dave served as a volunteer with the University of Tennessee Hospice Program which involved facilitating several online and in-person grief groups. Dave lives in Knoxville, TN with his wife, Ann, and their two cats. They have 3 grown daughters and a grandson. Dave enjoys meditating, taking and editing photos, videography, taking walks, and birdwatching. As a Certified Sage-ing® Leader, Dave enjoys facilitating online workshops as well as in person workshops in Knoxville, Tennessee. Contact: ddupper@utk.edu
