Mary Porter, DMin, MDiv, MSW, MA, CSL. Certified Sage-ing Leader Mary Porter has been teacher, social worker, pastor/chaplain, and music practitioner. She began her own Sage-ing while working for culture change in long-term care and creating (with ministry partner Lynn Bledsoe) the Birmingham AL nonprofit “Ruth and Naomi Senior Outreach“. Sage-ing helped her know when it was absolutely the time to retire. Now 5 years into formal retirement, she wears the mantles of grandmother, writer, mentor, and workshop/retreat leader. She works part-time as Parish Associate for Congregational Care at Shades Valley Church.
The fee of $80 ($90 after November 1st) includes course materials and a lunch. Discounts are available. See the Registration Page, below, and call Mary for details.
Because Sage-ing events are small by design, registration is limited, so early registration is advised. Directions to the event venue are available from the Registration Page below.
